Returns and Exchange

Anna Cordell Clothing is all locally made in very small runs or, in the case of the suits, custom made to order.

This is an important part of our ethos as it not only allows for individuality, but ensures a lack of wasted fabric and stock, something we believe is critical for the sustainability of fashion: no mass production or fast fashion.

Once a custom suit request has been accepted, sales are final.

For this reason, refunds and cancelled orders are only accepted in specific circumstances.

 

Anna Cordell Clothing does not offer refunds, returns, credits for or order cancellations for:

  • Change of mind 
  • Wrong sizing or inaccurate measurements if provided by our clients for suiting or made to order garments
  • Items damaged when wearing
  • Sale items 

Anna Cordell Clothing does offer refunds and exchanges for:

  • Faulty items 

In the case of suits, we will continue to alter your garment until the suit is right for you, and in the rare case that something is accidentally made to the wrong size, we will immediately re- make your garment in the correct size. 
suiting can take 2-3 fittings to perfect and this is a normal part of the process. Clients cannot return their suits on the first fitting under the assumption it is faulty. Fittings and alterations are a normal part of the process. 

This is important to us as we aim to provide customers with a high standard of garment made with love and care. In the rare event that a garment has a fault please contact us at hello@annacordellclothing.com within 7 days to organise a returning and a refund, credit or exchange.  

If you are returning an item for potential refund, consider using tracked postage, as Anna Cordell Clothing cannot guarantee we will receive returned items.

Return postage is the customers responsibility, however in the event of an exchange Anna Cordell Clothing will cover shipping back to you. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be added to your refund.

Returned items will be inspected, and an email will be sent to notify you that Anna Cordell Clothing has received the item, and that a refund will/will not be applicable in the circumstances. If a refund is approved, it will be processed and a credit will be applied to the source of your original method of payment.

As an independent, slow fashion business it is important to us that the purchasing of clothes is a considered act, and we hope that any garment you receive from Anna CordellClothing is one you love.
